Records of the Michigan Department of Military Affairs, 1959-1973.

This record group consists of two sets of records from the Michigan Department of Military Affairs. The first set of records are from the Office of Adjutant General and consist of the Military Board minutes (1959-1963). These are incomplete minutes of the State Military Board, generally discussing the repairs needed by various facilities, leases, use of military lands, regulations, allowances, awards, and general military matters. The second set of records are from the fiscal section and consist of budget materials (1965-1973) and include appropriation requests, program reviews, justifications or explanations of budget proposals, analyses of receipts and expenditures, fiscal histories and projections, and detailed cost accountings.
